10 Products Apple Released at WWDC 2023

The annual Worldwide Developer Conference or WWDC 2023 event was just held by Apple on Tuesday morning (6/6/2023). Like the events in previous years, at WWDC 2023, Apple also introduced several of its newest products.

So, what will be released at WWDC 2023? There are at least 10 products released by Apple at WWDC 2023. These products include the first Macbook Air with a 15-inch screen, as well as the latest Mac Studio and Mac Pro equipped with the M2 Ultra chip.

At WWDC 2023, Apple also released the latest operating system for several gadgets, one of which is iOS 17. Apart from these products, there is one new product that can be said to have quite caught the public’s attention.

List of products Apple released at WWDC 2023

1.Macbook Air 15 inches

The Macbook Air introduced at WWDC 2023 is the first Macbook Air series to be equipped with a 15-inch screen. This Macbook Air is equipped with a 15.3-inch Retina Display screen and an Apple M2 chip.

The 15-inch Macbook Air is supported by a Magsafe connection, USB type C, and an audio jack. The 15-inch Macbook Air is available to order now, but it won’t be hitting stores until June 13. The 15-inch Macbook Air starts at around IDR 19 million.

2. Chip M2 Ultra

Apple also released the latest chip for its desktop, namely the M2 Ultra chip, the highest model of the M2 chip series which has been released since the middle of last year.

This chip is designed with 5 nm fabrication technology and is claimed to be 20 percent faster than the M1 Ultra.

3. Mac Studio M2 Ultra

Apple is bringing the newly released M2 Ultra to its latest Mac Studio portable desktop device. The latest Mac Studio comes in two chip choices between M2 Max or M2 Ultra.

Mac Studio is equipped with up to 192 GB of RAM and up to 8 TB of memory.

4. Mac Pro M2 Ultra

Apart from Mac Studio, at WWDC 2023, Apple also released the latest Mac Pro workstation desktop device which is also supported by the M2 Ultra chip.

The latest Mac Pro has been supported with eight thunderbolt connection ports.

5. iOS 17

One product that has been quite awaited is the latest iPhone operating system, namely iOS 17. The successor to iOS 16 is equipped with several new features, one of which is interesting is the contact poster, which allows users to create posters to display when calling.

6. iPadOS

Apple also released the latest operating system for the iPad, namely iPadOS 17. The latest iPad operating system brings a number of new features, such as the Lock Screen modification feature, the addition of the Health application, the AutoFill feature in PDF documents, and many more.

7. MacOS Sonoma

For desktop devices, Apple has also released its latest operating system, namely MacOS 14 Sonoma. One of the interesting new features of MacOS Sonoma is the presence of Game Mode to support the gaming experience on the Mac desktop.

8. WatchOS 10

For the Apple Watch smart watch device, Apple released the latest operating system, namely WatchOS 10. On WatchOS 10, one of the newest features that is quite interesting is the feature of monitoring the user’s mental health condition via the Mental Health application.

9. Update the Audio and Home device features

Audio and Home devices, such as Apple TV, HomePod speakers, and AirPods, are also not spared from getting feature updates. For example, Apple TV via the latest TVOS can now be used to access FaceTime with the camera from a linked iPhone or iPad.

10. Vision Pro

As mentioned above, at WWDC 2023, one of the products that is getting quite a lot of attention is Vision Pro.

Vision Pro is Apple’s first AR device whose rumors have been circulating in recent years.

Vision Pro has transparent glass, much like Goggles (protective glasses). With that transparent glass, the user’s eyes can be seen from the outside.

The use of transparent glass is what distinguishes Vision Pro from other AR and VR headsets.

Apple’s AR and VR headset is planned to go on sale in the United States (US) early next year at a price of US$ 3,500 (around Rp. 52 million). Thus the list of products released by Apple at WWDC 2023, I hope this is useful.
