Definition of Communication

Communication is a word that is very familiar to the human ear. As a social being, of course humans will not be able to survive alone. They will definitely need the presence of other humans in their lives.

To be able to establish an interaction with other humans, of course we will need an absolute skill called communication. Communication itself has a meaning as a process that refers to an activity of exchanging information or messages between two or more people.

Elements of Business Communication from the Sender

In general, an element of communication is the most basic thing that must exist in a communication process. The element of communication itself also has several kinds in every process that occurs.

1. Proficiency in communication skills

1. Elements of Informative Message Communication

2. Elements of Persuasive Message communication

In the communication element there is a persuasive message that is persuasive. The main purpose of this type of persuasive message is to be able to change the attitude of the recipient of the message.

By using a persuasive message type communication element, the recipient will be able to change his own attitude without the need for coercion from any party including the sender of the message.

3. Elements of Coercive Message Communication

Communication media is included in an element of communication. Media Communication is a means or channel that can be used by the sender of the message to convey a message in question.

Feedback Process

Feedback or what can be said as reciprocity is one element of communication. This element is a response that can be given by the recipient of the message in response to a message that has been received by someone from the sender of the message.

A reciprocity or feedback in this communication element is given by the recipient of the message. Where he will be able to measure whether the ongoing communication between these people is going well. Also to see whether the purpose of holding the communication can be achieved or not, and also whether the recipient of the message can understand the message being conveyed.

Feedback conveyed by the recipient of this message can be anything. Starting from a body gesture such as a nod of the head, a shake, or a smile. Some behaviors such as recording the information obtained, or also a response in the form of a certain murmur can also be a feedback.

This feedback or reciprocal communication element can be divided into two categories, these include:

1. Negative Feedback

The element of communication with this one feedback category is a response that tends to disagree and at the same time reject the message conveyed by the sender of the message which is also one of the elements of communication.

For example, if the recipient of the message gives an indifferent attitude, shakes his head, or even an attitude of the sort. That would very clearly indicate a negative feedback.

2. Positive Feedback
