If you install a lot of applications on your Mac, then you will probably get a lot of notifications from each of them. <\/span>By\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>default<\/span><\/span><\/em> , the notification will appear at the top right of the Mac screen.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

But of course if too many notifications appear on the screen, you will have difficulty concentrating, especially when working.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Fortunately, Macs are equipped with a feature to disable notifications from certain applications that you want.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

That way, the notifications that appear on the screen are only notifications from important applications that you really need.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In this Androbuntu tutorial, I use macOS Monterey 12.0.1.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
The appearance of my Mac may be different from your Mac, depending on the version of Mac you are using.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
However, this feature is more or less the same if you use\u00a0 the same version of <\/span><\/span>macOS<\/span><\/span> \u00a0as me or newer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
If you are using an older version of macOS, please adjust it yourself.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
Immediately, here are the steps:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
Open the\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>System Preferences<\/span><\/span><\/strong> menu \u00a0on your Mac.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Androbuntu friends will see a list of applications in the left bar, then in the right bar you can enable or disable notifications for that application.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

You can also choose two types of notifications that can be displayed by a particular application.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
For example, if I enable the\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Banner<\/span><\/span><\/strong> option \u00a0for Firefox, Firefox can then send me notifications that appear on the top right side of the Mac. <\/span>The notification will disappear automatically after a few seconds.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
Meanwhile, if I select the\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Warning<\/span><\/span><\/strong> option , the notification displayed by\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Firefox<\/span><\/span> \u00a0will not disappear until I choose to delete the notification.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
Alert style notifications are very suitable for those of you who are forgetful. <\/span>Because the notification will continue to appear on the screen until you click on the notification.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
