In 1859, Alfred Russel Wallace \u2013 an English naturalist \u2013 divided Indonesia into 3 parts using an imaginary line. <\/span>This division is made based on the characteristics of the flora and fauna found in the area. <\/span>This imaginary line is what we know as the “Wallace line” and the “Weber line”.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
