Entry Requirements The University of Melbourne
If Hunters are interested in studying here, then prepare several supporting documents to submit an application for enrollment at the university. Before that, prepare a student visa as one of the required files. Then also prepare the language score results as follows (choose one of them):
- Hunters require a TOEFL score of 577 or above including a score of 4.5 in the Test of Written English for the paper-based test, or a score of 79 and a score of 21 for the writing, 18 for speaking, 13 for reading, 13 for reading listening Internet-based tests.
- Hunters require an IELTS score of 6.5 or above, with no band less than 6.0.
- Hunters need an overall score between 58-64 and not achieve a PTE communicative skill score below 50.
- Hunters require a Cambridge English score of 176 with no skills below 169.

1. Research Training Program Scholarship
Appropriateness:
Have applied for and meet the entry requirements for a postgraduate research degree at the University of Melbourne , or currently enrolled in a postgraduate research degree at the University of Melbourne .
Profit:
- Full fee offset of up to two years for students undertaking a masters by research degree or up to four years for students undertaking a doctoral degree.
- A living allowance of $34,400 per year pro rata (2023 full-time study rate) for up to two years for students undertaking a master’s by research degree or up to 3.5 years for students undertaking a doctoral degree. Living allowances are indexable annually and include limited paid sick, maternity and child care leave.
- A relocation grant of $2,000 for students moving from a state or territory other than Victoria or $3,000 for students moving from outside Australia.
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) single membership for international students who require a student visa to study in Australia.

2. Educational Fund Management Institution
The Education Fund Management Institute (LPDP) under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia provides scholarships for Indonesian citizens who have D-4/S-1 and S-2 graduates who wish to continue their education to Masters and Doctoral levels. The scholarship is known as the LPDP Scholarship. This scholarship is a full scholarship that covers tuition fees and other costs including housing costs to support the smooth running of studies at various universities in various countries.
Scholarship category:
LPDP provides three main scholarship schemes where each main scheme is further divided into several categories, as follows:
- Regular (general): World Premier College Scholarships (PTUD), Regular Scholarships, and Co-funding Scholarships .
- Affirmations: Papuan Boys and Girls Scholarships, Regional Affirmation Scholarships, Scholarships for People with Disabilities, and Scholarships for Pre-Prosperous People.
- Targeted : Education Scholarship for Ulama Cadres; PNS, TNI, and POLRI Scholarships; Metallurgy and Materials Science Collaboration Scholarship; and Entrepreneurship Scholarships
Scholarship registration requirements:
- Indonesian citizen (WNI)
- Have passed the D-4/S-1 program from an accredited tertiary institution
- Not currently pursuing Masters degree/non-degree studies
- Not currently applying for, receiving, or will receive another scholarship
- Study programs and destination universities are in accordance with LPDP provisions
- If you are a graduate of a foreign university, you must attach the results of equivalent diplomas and GPA conversions

3. Australian Awards Scholarship
The Australian Awards Scholarship (AAS) provides the opportunity to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree in Australia. Applicants will be selected based on academic ability, leadership qualities, proficiency in English and potential to play a role in development in their country of origin.
Profit:
- This scholarship is also accompanied by up to nine months of academic and English language preparation courses, prior to departure to Australia
- This scholarship will cover round trip travel
- Contribution to living expenses
- Health cover during the scholarship
- Field work allowance
Scholarship applications are open from February – April each year.
The requirements are as follows:
- Minimum age 18 years
- Not an Australian citizen or applying for a visa to reside in Australia permanently
- Not married/engaged with Australian or New Zealand citizenship, during the application, selection or mobilization phases
- Not be a serving military personnel
- Never received Australia Awards
- Have met any special criteria established by the program area or government of the applicant’s country of citizenship
- Can meet all the requirements of the department of home affairs to have a student visa
- Not currently applying for a scholarship for a study program at a lower academic level than has been achieved
