Humanities Division
One of Oxford’s flagship areas! QS WUR by subject 2022 even places Oxford University as number 1 for the field of Arts and Humanities. The Oxford Humanities Division works closely with philanthropists, companies and foundations in organizing various projects . One of the ongoing projects is the development of the Stephen A Schwarzman Center for the Humanities which will later become a collaboration center for Humanities departments at Oxford, such as concert hall facilities and a film screening audiotorium which can be used for music, dance and other arts performances.

Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences (MPLS) Division
Researchers at the MPLS Oxford division have won many scientific awards including prestigious awards such as the nobel prize. Some of the Nobel laureates from Oxford University are Sir Roger Penrose for the field of physics in 2020 and John B Goodenough for the field of chemistry in 2019. All departments in the Oxford MPLS division have won the Athena Swan Awards . The Athena Swan Charter demonstrates Oxford’s commitment to supporting and advancing women’s careers in science.

Medical Division
It is the largest division of Oxford University with an area of 124,025 square meters and includes 71 buildings. It has 1,879 undergraduate students, 2,051 postgraduate students, and 5,901 researchers, administrative staff, and academics from 105 different countries. In addition, this division also has the most number of departments compared to other divisions, namely 94 departments.
In 2021, Oxford is ranked 1st and is the best in the world for the field of medicine according to Times Higher Education . Oxford’s excellence in this field is also evidenced by the number of academics who have won the Nobel Prize. Currently, there are 17 people from Oxford who have received the Nobel Prize in Medicine .
Social Sciences Division
Oxford University is one of the best in this field. As Times Higher Education data shows that Oxford is ranked first for the field of Social Sciences in 2018, 2019 and 2022. In the 2021 Research Excellence Framework (REF) assessment, Oxford dominates the number of studies for the Social Sciences category or panel C. With more than 800 researchers, the research conducted by Oxford in this category is very diverse, ranging from geography, business, law, to archaeology. In addition, over 55% of the research from Oxford was highly rated and led to panel C.
